Zero Risk Policy

If your German student visa is officially rejected, PFH refunds 100% of every payment made to us — including tuition and administrative fees. Here are the exact conditions, in plain language.

Why it matters for Indian applicants

The risk isn't the visa. It's what happens after a refusal.

Most Indian families arrange an education loan long before a visa decision arrives. The Zero Risk Policy exists so that a refusal doesn't turn into a financial loss.

Full refund, not partial

On an official visa rejection, PFH refunds 100% of all payments received — tuition and administrative fees included. Not a percentage, not a credit note.

Conditions apply — listed in full below.

Conditions stated upfront

Every requirement is published on this page before you pay anything. Nothing sits in fine print, and your counsellor will walk you through each one.

Conditions for the refund

The policy is straightforward, but it does carry conditions. Here they are in full — nothing left out.

Visa responsibility

Applying for the appropriate visa to enter Germany, and for a residence permit covering the duration of your studies, is the student's own responsibility. PFH supports you with the documentation — including your Confirmation of Acceptance — but the application itself is submitted by you.

Refund conditions

In the event of an official visa rejection, PFH refunds 100% of all payments received, including administrative and tuition fees, provided you meet the following criteria:

  • You have received a valid Confirmation of Acceptance (CoA) from PFH.
  • Where a visa decision is issued after the semester start, you must have demonstrably participated in the study programme with at least 80% attendance.
  • You have submitted an official written visa rejection notice issued by the competent authority.

Accuracy of your application

Eligibility requires that all information and documents submitted during the application, admission, enrolment and visa process are complete, accurate, authentic, and not the result of negligence.

What's covered

Refund coverage at a glance

The refund applies to money PFH actually receives. Payments made to third parties sit outside it — here's the split.

Refunded

  • Tuition fees paid to PFH
  • Administrative and enrolment fees paid to PFH
  • Any amount you paid after a scholarship reduction

Not covered

  • Visa application fees paid to the consulate or VFS Global
  • Flights or travel booked before visa approval
  • Service charges billed by independent agents outside PFH
How the refund works

From admission in India to refund, if the visa is refused

The exact sequence every PFH India applicant follows.

01

Receive your CoA

Once admitted, PFH issues your Confirmation of Acceptance — the document your visa application is built on.

02

Apply for your visa

Submit at the German consulate or your nearest VFS Global centre, with your counsellor's guidance.

03

If refused, collect the notice

Obtain the official written rejection notice issued by the competent authority. This is what PFH needs on file.

04

Refund is processed

Share it with your PFH India counsellor. Once verified, 100% of payments made to PFH are refunded.

Common questions

Zero Risk Policy — questions from Indian applicants

Does this cover the visa application fee I pay the consulate?+

No. The Zero Risk Policy refunds payments made directly to PFH. Visa application fees go to the German consulate or VFS Global, and PFH never receives that payment.

What if my visa decision arrives after the semester has started?+

You'll need to show at least 80% demonstrable participation in the programme up to the point the decision is issued, alongside the other standard conditions.

Does the policy apply to every PFH Master's programme?+

Yes — it applies across PFH's on-campus Master's programmes: MBA, General Management, UX Management & Design, and AI Management in Computer Science for Business.

Are there any application fees at PFH?+

No. There are no application fees at PFH, so submitting your application carries no cost at all.

Can I combine this with a scholarship?+

Yes. The policy is independent of financial aid, so any PFH scholarship you're awarded still applies, and the refund covers what you actually paid after that reduction.
